Bridge is an Objective and Stopwatch map. Attacking teams must repair and escort an Extraction Vehicle (EV) to the nearby bridge. Then attackers need to steal two drug samples and deliver them to the helicopter.

Overview[]

New anti-radiation drugs being developed in the fortified GH Medical building? Maybe. But whatever they are, someone wants them. And someone else wants to keep them where they are. A paradox: the things that must stay are the things that must be taken. To resolve, just add Mercenaries. [1]

Mission[]

Engineers repair the EV faster and only one merc can repair the EV at a time. Cover your engineers to to move to the second objective quicker.

Repair the EV[]

Attackers must make their way to the EV station, repair it, and being escorting it to the GH building. Beware of the barricade!

Escort the EV[]

The EV must be escorted to the GH building to start the final objective.

Steal the Override Cores[]

That CDA shield really is a bitch. With these Override Cores, we can easily shut it down with a few totally legal deliveries.

Secondary Objectives[]

Barricade[]

The barricade is a secondary objective that is constructed by the defending team. It is used to stop the EV from advancing past the halfway point in the map. Attackers must destroy the barricade generator to move the EV to its destination. The barricade generator can be destroyed either by planting the C4 or using bullets and explosives. These include but are not limited to Nader's grenades, Fletcher's sticky bombs, Stoker's fire, Rhino's minigun, etc...

Well organized attackers will move up quickly preventing the defending team from repairing the generator while defending teams will fall back once the realize the EV can no longer be guarded and construct the barricade quickly. Using explosive and bullet damage is the most effective method to destroy the barricade, as it does not give the defending team an opportunity to defuse the C4.

Tips & Tricks[]

  • You can practice Bridge in offline mode by loading it via the console with "switchlevel OBJ_Bridge".
    • The console is opened by using the ~ (tilda) key.

Trivia[]

  • Ironically, the Barricade is a second objective that is needed to be destroyed in order to advanced further. Otherwise, you will lose if you don't destroy it.
