- The rifle is visually based on the American M14 battle rifle, fitted with a J. Allen Enterprises JAE-100 stock.
- The rifle appears to be chambered in a larger cartridge than the 7.62x51mm NATO of the M14, however. The magazine size is more similar to the .300 Winchester Magnum's overall length.
- The Grandeur SR is the only Sniper Rifle in the game that does not have a scope.
- There are concept arts of the Grandeur SR having a sight.
